1. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are for a single person. Sharing one account across multiple users is not permitted.
- You must verify your email address to activate your account. Accounts that are never verified are removed after 15 days.
2. Free Trial
- New accounts receive a free trial that begins when you verify your email address. No payment method is required during the trial.
- When the trial ends, access to subscriber features is paused until you subscribe. Your saved searches, saved events, and notes are retained.
- We may change the availability or length of the free trial for new accounts at any time.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access through the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after that. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.
- If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and retry. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, access is suspended until payment is updated.
- Prices may change; we will give you advance notice before a change affects an existing subscription.
4. Event Information
- Event, judge, and club information on the Site is compiled from publicly available sources, including the American Kennel Club's published event data. ShowDogCentral is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Kennel Club (AKC).
- We work to keep the data accurate and current, but events change — dates, judges, closing times, and locations can be updated or canceled by their organizers at any time. Always confirm details with the official premium list or superintendent before entering a show. We are not responsible for missed entries or costs arising from data inaccuracies.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the Site's data or content.
- Do not attempt to bypass subscription gating, probe, or disrupt the Site's operation.
- Reviews and notes you post must be your honest experience and must not be defamatory, harassing, or unlawful. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the notes, reviews, and other content you submit. By posting content visible to other users, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the Site. You can delete your content, or your account, at any time.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowDogCentral is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email, and continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
